There are a number of tourist attractions to visit in and around Bangalore city. Of historical, religious and contemporary, these Bangalore Attractions (tourists) are easily accessible and worth a visit.

Among the Bangalore attractions, the Vidhana Soudha is the prime attraction of Bangalore. The architecture of Vidhana Soudha is a neo-Dravidian architecture presently functioning massive as the Legislature of the Karnataka State.

The Cubbon Park located in the heart of the city, Lalbagh (famous for the blooming red roses); the Bannerghatta National Park and the Bangalore Palace are some other must see attractions of Bangalore city.

The Venkatappa Art Gallery houses about 600 paintings on display. The palace of Tipu and the other forts are very fine examples of Indo-Islamic architecture that also offer a glimpse of the lifestyle of Mughal day.

Among the places of water entertainment, you can visit Wonderla Amusement Park and Lumbini Gardens.

Wonderla Amusement Park is currently the largest and safest amusement park in India, spanning over 82 acres of land. Wonderla has 53 land and water based rides, the most for any amusement park in the country. Theme park has the highest number of imported high thrill rides in India. Wonderla also features India's tallest Ferris wheel located on top of a 15 floor tower, known as the sky wheel.

Lumbini Gardens is a wave pool with an artificial beach. Visitors without any age restrictions are allowed inside the gardens. The pool can create the best and safest entertainment. It also has a pool for children. The pool is located in an area of 12,500 square feet.

Among the places of worship, the ISKCON Temple at West of chord Road, Shiva Statue at Murugeshpalya, Mukti Naga temple at Kengeri, Venkateshwara Temple (Tirumalagiri) at JP Nagar, Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple at Jayanagar, Anjaneya Temple at Mahalakshmi Layout and the Bull Temple at Basavanagudi are worth visiting.

Apart from the above Bangalore attractions, you can also visit the Aquarium, which is the second largest in the country, the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Innovative Film City for a complete family adventure and fun, Muthyalamaduvu (Pearl Valley) and Big Banyan tree at Ramohalli.

Nandi Hills, Shivasamudram falls and Savanadurga are few other important attractions around Bangalore.
