Kote Venkataramana Temple is one of the oldest temples and important place of attraction in Bangalore.

Kote Venkataramana Temple is a located in KR Road, near city Market. The temple id dedicated to lord Venkateshwara. The Kote Venkataramana Temple was constructed in sixteenth century by the then Mysore ruler, Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar. The temple is built in Dravidian style of Architecture.

The temple is renowned for its beautiful stone carvings.

Fairs and Festivals

Vaikunta Ekadashi is the main festival celebrated at Kote Venkataramana Temple in Bangalore. Thousands of devotees visit the temple to get the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara.

To visit the temple first you can reach City Market and then ask for the route there. BMTC buses are available to City Market from most places of Bangalore city and rural. Kote Venkataramana Temple is located just besides Tipu Sultan's palace.
